This Privacy Policy explains what data Oblik s. r. o. (“we,” “us,” “Oblik”) collects when you use Murasaki or request a license, and what we do with it.

We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
Murasaki is a desktop application. The novels, chapters, notes, characters, and everything else you write inside the app stay on your own computer, in a local database file. None of that content is ever transmitted to us, and the app makes no network request that includes any of it.
When you request a license: your email address, provided when you request access to Murasaki Full.
When Murasaki checks your license: the license key stored on your machine, sent once at each app startup to confirm it’s valid. Standard technical data that accompanies any network request — your IP address and the time of the request — is used only to detect abuse and keep the license service reliable.
We do not collect your name, your novel’s title or content, filenames, or any other information about how you use the app.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
No other third-party processors are used for Murasaki.
getmurasaki.app does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
We keep your email address and license record for as long as your license is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for support and accounting purposes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
